Why a SQUATX? — Full-Body Fitness Solution
The SmithShaper SQUATX and the SmithShaper Roller/Rider Models both enable you to perform a variety of exercises to develop and strengthen multiple muscle groups — including glutes, hamstrings, quadriceps, calves, pectorals, abdominals, lower and upper back, chest, shoulders, and arms. Beginners should first start rolling side-by-side; a beginner or intermediate user can simply place their forearms on top of the roller to keep performing 40–80 rollouts per session. You will be surprised how many repetitions you can achieve in this manner — totally strengthening your abdominal area.
Advanced users can place more weight on the far surface of the Axle/Axle Rollers for progressive overload and accelerated results.
The same holds true for many other SmithShaper exercises. Simply place knees on the roller closest to your legs to perform SmithShaper Squat exercises using bodyweight resistance. A moderate starting-to-finish resistance keeps the Ab-Squat Rider on your back when doing Power Squats, growing your hamstrings and strengthening your core every rep.
